Almaty
From my point
of view, the most exciting, attractive and unforgettable city in Kazakhstan is
Almaty. My beautiful city has a lot of unusual places, but I want to tell about
3 of them. Which are the most attractive as I think.
The first
place that I would like to present is our Skating Rink Medeo. It was built in
1972. Mountain valley was named after Medeo nomad, whose village was in this
picturesque area. Ice surface of skating rink occupies 10.500 square meters
which allows organizing competitions in speed skating, hockey and figure
skating. Also skating fans may come here and have a good day.
The second
amazing place in Almaty is Turgen Gorge.it is located in 90 km from the city.
Turgen gorge is famous for its waterfalls and mossy firs. It is a suitable place
for nature fans.
The third
beautiful place is Ascension Cathedral. It was built in 1904. It was included
in the list of monuments of history and culture of Kazakhstan national
importance. The inner structure of the cathedral was made in the artistic
workshops of Moscow and Kiev. The iconostasis was painted by N. Khludov. This
place is visited both by religious people and tourists.
